What is an International entry?

An International Entry is a programme where travellers are required to apply for a passport, with the government then sending the passport to the country where the travel is to take place.

This process can take up to seven business days, and is a relatively quick way of getting a passport for free if you’re arriving in a country with a population below 1 million.

You can apply for your passport online or by calling a local customs office.

Why should I take an International Enterance?

International entry can allow you to fly for up to six months without paying the usual stamp duty, customs and other costs.

The only other requirement is that you must hold a valid International Entry for at least three months before you can apply to take the passport.
